Annie M. Bryan

Annie Mae Bryan, (87) After a long battle with Alzheimer's went peacefully to be with her lord on Monday June 11, 2012

She was born in South Hill,VA on Sept. 8, 1924 to the late John W. Crenshaw and Annie May Ramis of Mecklenburg County, VA.

At a young age she left the farm life of South Hill and moved to New York City where she met and married the late Conway Bryan, Sr on Jan. 28, 1946

Annie and Conway raised two sons and shared 54 years of marriage before Conway's passing Oct. 22, 2001

Annie was a licensed beautician and also retired after 30 yrs service with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She enjoyed travel throughout the US and Caribbean Islands. Annie was active in her community in Co-Op City, Bronx NY she remained in contact with many friends there for over 30 years.

Annie is survived by her brother Charles Crenshaw, children Conway Bryan, Jr. and Robert Bryan of Los Angeles California, 4 grandchildren Xavier Bryan, Mayya Bryan, Nicholas Bryan and Miles Bryan, 3 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends... Final arrangements entrusted to C.C. Carter Funeral Home.The Family will Recieve friends Thursday June 14 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. At the C.C. Carter Funeral Home 3314 Roanoke Ave, Newport News, VA.

Mrs.Bryan, will be transported to her final resting place with her Husband Conway Bryan, Sr at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, N.Y.

Services of Dignity and Respect are provived by the staff of C.C.Carter Funeral Home.
