Hampton Newsome (59) died February 25, 2012. Mr. Newsome was born on March 13, 1953 in Waverly, VA to the late Julia Elizabeth Bates and Hampton J. Newsome.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Calvin and Phyllis Fletcher, one aunt, Sandra Fletcher.

Left to cherish his memories are, Four aunts, two uncles and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday March 9, 2012 at 11:00 am In the Chapel of C. C. Carter Funeral Home.

Internment will be private.
