Andre Lamont Davis, (48) formerly of Hampton, VA passed away January 30, 2012 in Richmond, VA.

Andre, graduated from Hampton High School in 1982. He attended Norfolk State University. He was enlisted in the Army for many years. Later he became a truck driver. Andre was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Davis.

Surviving members of his family include his mother Shirley A. Davis; sisters Sheila Hudgins (Isaac), Melissa Davis (Matthew Prasky); two nieces Shantel Hudgins and Marissa Prasky; also Grandmother Annie Davis, a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services, for Mr. Davis will be held 12 noon Monday February 6, 2012 at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery; 5310 Milner’s Road Suffolk, VA .

The family will receive Guest from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday Febuary 5,2012 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home 3314 Roanoke Avenue Newport News, VA.
